Two Special Shabbat Experiences!
​

Join us on Friday, March 6 for two special Shabbat experiences!
We’ll begin with Shabbat Yeladim at 5:15 pm — a joyful, interactive service for children ages 7 and under (older siblings welcome!) filled with songs, stories, blessings, challah, and grape juice.
At 6:00 pm, our Religious School and Choir Shabbat will bring students together with the Beth Israel choir to help lead our traditional Friday evening service.
Come for one or both — we look forward to welcoming you for a meaningful and spirited Shabbat together!
Sips & Slides: A Journey Through China

Join us on Friday, March 27 at 5:00 pm for an evening of wine, cheese, and adventure! Beth Israel member Nelson Kardos will take us on a fascinating visual journey through China, sharing photographs from his years working as a consultant to the Chinese pharmaceutical industry (1976–2003).
Through stunning images of Beijing, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Terra Cotta Army, rural villages, industrial centers, and remote regions once closed to foreigners, you’ll experience a side of China few outsiders have seen. Many of these scenes capture places and ways of life that no longer exist today.
Come schmooze, sip, and travel the world — no passport required!
