Never Forget: Holocaust Survivors Story

The Office of Student Relations and School Climate is honored to host Holocaust survivor Steen Metz for a virtual presentation on Monday, May 19 at 6:00 pm.
At just eight years old, Steen was deported with his parents to the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp from his home in Denmark. He endured 18 months of brutal conditions, lost his father to starvation, and was liberated one month before the camp's gas chamber was set to operate. He is one of fewer than 1,500 children to survive the camp. Now, Steen shares his powerful story to educate and inspire future generations. This is a rare opportunity to hear firsthand about the Holocaust and the importance of remembrance, resilience, and standing against hate.
